Galaxy Auction Company is a full service auction house located in Frederick, MD. Offering bi-weekly online auctions on HiBid and bi-weekly live in-person auctions.
With a commitment to serve the long standing auction community of Maryland, Galaxy Auction Company seeks to merge the new ways of online auctions with the local feeling of community that local live sales bring.
A few things we’re great at
We offer two forms of auctions to our customers: online auctions and live in-person sales at our facility in Frederick, MD. We work with everyone from single item consignors to whole estate liquidations.
Online Auctions on HiBid.Com
Held bi-weekly on the reputable online platform Hibid.com, we list hundreds of lots featuring gold, silver, coins, furniture, vintage toys, glass and ceramics, electronics, trading cards, MCM items, and more.
Live In-Person Auctions
Held now twice a month, we use our facility in Frederick, MD to keep the live auction community alive. Housed in the former home of Trout Auctioneers Inc. on Hansonville Rd.
Consignment & Estate Liquidations
Our owners are long time members of the consignment community and have a lot of experience in estate sales and liquidations. Find out more about our services, methods, and fees below.
Our Consignment Rates
We offer competitive, sliding scale fees to our consignors.
We consign at: 35% for $1-$50, 25% for $51-$99, and 15% for $100+
Our Buyers Premium
We accept cash, check, credit and debit card.
Our auction buyers premiums are 15% fee for Credit and Debit card. For cash and check the the fee is discounted to 10%. Galaxy Auction Company reserves the right to require guaranteed funds at will.
